Can I bring my own food or snacks?
Yes, feel free to bring a picnic. Bringing drinks on board is prohibited as there is a bar on board the barge. We can also arrange a booking for you in Lock 13 Restaurant in Sallins after the cruise.
What if the weather’s bad?
The AMO Barge is an all weather boat with a comfortable heated interior and outside decks at the bow and stern.

Is it suitable for children?
Yes. We have children of all ages onboard every week. Life jackets are provided for all children.
Can individuals go on a cruise?
Yes, individuals can book a ticket. A minimum of 4 passengers is required for all ticketed BargeTrips. If you are the first to book, it will be registered as a booking request and will be confirmed once the minimum number of passengers is achieved.
Do you cater for Birthday parties?
Yes! The barge is a great venue for a party. We cover Brithdays, Team Days or any occasion. There’s a bar onboard and dining options on the waterfront in Sallins for after the cruise.
How many people can come on a cruise?
The max number of passengers, including adults and children is 12.
When do you operate?
The main season is February to October, departure slots are available to book online, and we can put one on during the winter months by arrangement
