Can I bring my own food or snacks?

Ye. Feel free to bring a picnic. you cant bring your own drinks as we operate a bar onboard.

Can individuals go on a cruise?

All cruises are private so there’s no miminum group size. We often do cruises for couples and small groups.

Do you cater for Birthday parties?

Yes! The barge is a great venue for a party. We cover Brithdays, Team Days or any occasion. There’s a bar onboard and dining options on the waterfront in Sallins for after the cruise.

Ho do I book with a Gift Voucher?

Just give us a call and we will get you booked in!

How many people can come on a cruise?

The max number of passengers, including adults and children is 12. It’s fine to bring a smaller group and the cruise is private, exclusive to your party.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes. We have children of all ages onboard every week. Life jackets are provided for all children.

What does it cost?

We have 3 route options. Charter fees covers the whole group. This can be up to 12 people!

Leinster Aqueduct (1 hour) – €170

McCreevys Lock (1.5 hour) – €230

Digby Lock (2.5 hour) – €350

What if the weather’s bad?

The AMO Barge is an all weather boat with a comfortable heated interior and outside decks at the bow and stern.

When do you operate?

The main season is February to October, departure slots are available to book online, and we can put one on during the winter months by arrangement
